Job Summary
Tulare City School District is now accepting applications for the position of Vice Principal (Elementary) for the 2026/27 school year. This position is a Certificated Management position. Work year is 200 days, 8 hours per day. Work with the principal and staff to gain practical knowledge to support instructional programs at the school site. Organize, coordinate, and administer assigned programs and activities related to student discipline, attendance, and instruction. Assist the Principal with administrative duties involving student conduct, curriculum development, and school plant operations as assigned. To act as co-administrator with the school principal performing duties as assigned by the principal involving major portions of school operation and to assume administrative responsibility for the school in the absence of the principal. Applicants must possess or obtain a valid California Clear, Preliminary or Intern Administrative Services Credential by July 2026 or be enrolled in an Administrative Services Credential program before the first day of contract. Possession of a valid California teaching credential A minimum of four (4) years teaching experience preferred. Master's degree is required.
