Requirements / Qualifications
DEFINITION: Under the direction of the Director of Educational Technology, the Data Services Specialist is responsible for the District's Student Information System and third-party data systems.
The physical and mental abilities described below are representative of those employees may need to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: At least five years of experience managing data in PowerSchool or another Student Information System(SIS); a minimum of two years’ experience with PowerSchool SIS is required. A minimum of two years’ experience working with data systems at a school site is preferred. Education: Recommended at least two (2) years of college, including or supplemented by training in data processing operations, or equivalent experience. Relevant PowerSchool certifications preferred. Ability to: Design and implement integration of systems. Interface with a variety of people, both internal and external to the District. Communicate both verbally and by written response.
