About the Employer
The Goleta Union School District (GUSD) serves approximately 3,384 students in preschool through sixth grade across nine elementary schools. All schools offer transitional kindergarten and strong support services, including special education and mental health, in addition to after-school care at all nine schools supporting approximately 1,500 students. GUSD offers embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners across the district. Each school maintains a 1.0–1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. Under direction of the Head of Food Services, assist with a variety of responsible tasks related to the serving of food at an assigned school food service location; prepare routine records and reports related to food service activities; provide work direction to food service staff at an assigned site.
