Requirements / Qualifications
SALARY SCHEDULE: Classified Salary Range: 19 Work Calendar: 201 Days Work Location: Roving - Various Sites Work Hours: 11:45 am - 3:15 pm (3.5 hours/day) EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School diploma or equivalent and 12 units in the field of Child Development/ Early Childhood Education including core courses of child/human growth and development; child/family/community or child and family relations; and program/curriculum. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Six (6) months of work experience in working with pre-school-aged children or college lab hours. OR; Nine (9) months and three (3) hours per day within a Child Development Center-Based Program within the past two years is preferred. *Materials Required at the time of applying:* 1. Completed application 2. Resume 3. Proof of High School Diploma or Equivalency (copy of official transcript OR copy of diploma is acceptable) 4. Copy of official college transcript indicating the completion of 12 units in the field of Child Development/ Early Childhood Education, including core courses in child/human growth and development; child/family/community or child and family relations; and program/curriculum. 5. Copy of an Associate Teacher Permit OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential if completed
