Visions is seeking a Special Education Program Specialist for the 2026/27 School year. This position will start 7/1/2026. The Program Specialist will provide overall management and direction in the planning and implementation of special education services throughout the continuum. This position will be responsible for coordinating activities relating to the placement of pupils in appropriate special education programs and acting as a consultant to staff and families in helping to implement the Individual Education Programs as developed. Additionally, the Program Specialist will be responsible for ensuring high-quality instructional practices and programs, building collaborative relationships and preparing students to be successful citizens. Previous special education administrative experience and independent study or home school experience is preferred. In general, this position will work a hybrid schedule of 1 days at our office in Gold River, CA and 4 days of remote work. However, depending upon the needs of the department this schedule is subject to change.
