Job Summary

Under the direction of a Principal, organize, coordinate and administer assigned programs and activities related to student discipline, attendance, curriculum and instruction, Restorative Justice and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and systemic equity at a secondary school; assist the Principal with administrative duties involving student conduct and support for student non-academic needs, curriculum development and school plant operations as assigned; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel.

  • Any combination equivalent to: Master’s degree in education or a related field and four years of classroom experience, including at least two years at the secondary school level.
  • Valid CA Administrative Services Credential.
  • Valid CA Teaching credential
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong knowledge of Special Education services. This position supports special education services, ensuring inclusive practices and compliance with all legal requirements.

SELECTION PROCESS The qualifications of each applicant will be evaluated in a multi-step process using specific criteria. The adopted criteria will be utilized during the application screening, interviewing and final decision-making process. After the application screening is completed, the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources and the Superintendent will determine those candidates to be interviewed.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
All employment offers are conditional, based upon the successful completion of the following: Fingerprint/background clearance, and a tuberculosis clearance. A physical examination clearance is required for certain positions for the district.
