Job Summary

Job Summary

Assists in instruction, supervision and training of individual or groups of special education students by performing a variety of instructional support activities. Provides specialized learning experiences for students in special day class and resource specialist programs; provides a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel and to perform other duties.

Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent 2 Years of college coursework or ability to meet the criteria for paraprofessionals through coursework or formal academic assessment in the areas of reading, writing and mathematics.
