A degree in business, accounting, economics, or other related fields is preferred. Master’s degree or beyond desirable. A Chief Business Official Certificate from the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO) or other recognized professional organization or university/college is preferred. Excellent communication skills are required. The Chief Business Officer must communicate effectively using mathematical formats and demonstrate outstanding written and oral communication skills. Effective public speaking and communication with the Board of Trustees at meetings is required. SPECIAL LICENSE OR LANGUAGE SKILLS Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License and use of private or alternative means of transportation is required. Evidence of proof of current automobile insurance is required. A CPA, CMA or other related certification is desirable The ability to speak, read and write a language in addition to English, such as Spanish, is desirable All applicants must include the following to be considered for an interview: 1.
