Metropolitan Education District (MetroED) is a regional provider of Career Technical Education (CTE) and Adult Education. As the largest organization of its kind in Santa Clara County, we are dedicated to offering career-oriented education to both high school and adult students. Annually, MetroED provides 2,600 diverse students with the skills to help them be productive, income-earning, and tax-paying contributors to Silicon Valley. MetroED collaborates with designated districts to provide comprehensive educational opportunities for adults and high school students. Through our Silicon Valley Career Technical Education program, we offer career technical education to high school students and, on a space-available basis, to adult students in the following districts: Campbell Union High School District, East Side Union High School District, Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District, Milpitas Unified School District, San Jose Unified School District, and Santa Clara Unified School District. Additionally, our Silicon Valley Adult Education provides courses for the San Jose Unified School District.

Job Summary

Reports to and assists the Superintendent of Metropolitan Education District with all duties and responsibilities related to the business functions of the District including fiscal, purchasing, risk management, technology, facilities and maintenance operations. Provides business and leadership support for the goals of the District. As a small district—one site, two programs, 2,500 students, and approximately 100 employees—we offer the opportunity to make a visible impact. Our size allows for direct communication, strong professional relationships, and the ability to see the results of your work firsthand.

Successful candidates must obtain and provide the following documents prior to the interview: • Resume • Letter of Introduction • Three recent (within a year) letters of Recommendation

Successful applicants must obtain and/or provide the following before beginning employment: • Original transcripts for Bachelor's degree and higher • Fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and FBI • Proof of Tuberculosis clearance • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
