Job Summary

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, the CCSPP District Coordinator works collaboratively with the District Community Schools Certificated Facilitator, Community Schools Specialists, and Family Engagement Liaisons, and CCSPP Principals to monitor, support, oversee, and facilitate the process of transforming the sites into full-service community schools. The CCSPP District Coordinator serves as a bridge between the schools and Student Services Division to support and work with a team of school leaders to ensure that all students have maximum access and are making optimal progress. The CCSPP District Coordinator, in collaboration with the District Community School Certificated Facilitator, Community Schools Specialist (CSS), and Family Engagement Liaison (FEL) will ensure the establishment of community schools that bring together and align essential resources to support students and their families in a safe, healthy, and culturally relevant environment, advancing dynamic, community partnerships aligned with Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) goals and Strategic Plan. Employment is contingent upon the continuation of grant funding.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Professional: Required: Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, behavioral sciences, counseling, education, or other related fields. Two years of professional experience performing similar functions and duties, in a school or district setting preferred. Highly Desirable: Bilingual in Spanish and English. Personal: Character, personality, and proper social capability to relate effectively with racially and ethnically diverse staff, students, and community. Demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of community groups and organizations. CREDENTIAL: Must hold a valid California Administrative Services Credential. Must possess a valid California driver’s license. See document requirements below.
