Job Summary
A Program Leader I is responsible for managing a classroom of 20 students , ensuring the safety of students and facilitating daily implementation of each program. Programs may include but are not limited to sports, STEM, Coding, nutrition, outdoor education, and creative arts. Must be available Monday through Friday during the afterschool hours. 4 hours a day, 5 days a week
Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, • High School diploma or equivalent AND o 48 completed College Units OR o NCLB Paraprofessional Certification • A minimum of two years’ experience working with youth is desirable General Requirements • Must be at least 18 years of age or older. • Must pass a DOJ/FBI background check. • Must receive TB clearance. • Must pass pre-employment drug screening. • A valid California Driver’s License • Evidence of adequate auto insurance coverage is required. You must be listed as an ensured driver.
