Pacific Autism Center for Education (PACE) has an exciting opportunity for a Special Education School Coordinator at its Sunnyvale campus. PACE is a nonprofit organization which provides high quality programs for individuals with autism. Come be a part of our fabulous team! The Special Education School Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the effective operation of special education programs for our high school campus. This position ensures that individualized education programs (IEPs) are implemented with fidelity, compliance standards are met, and instructional teams receive the guidance and resources necessary to support students with disabilities in our high school/post secondary classrooms. The Coordinator serves as a liaison between teachers, related service providers, families, and external agencies to promote a collaborative and inclusive educational environment in the high school/post secondary campus located in Sunnyvale, CA. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. California Education Specialist credential required. BCBA certification strongly desired. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working in a special education setting; supervisory or coordination experience strongly preferred.
