Stockton Unified School District (SUSD) began providing services to students in 1852 and is located in the heart of California’s Central Valley near the banks of the San Joaquin River. Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to an Associate of arts degree in administration of justice or related field from an accredited college, supplemented by upper level college courses in police science, supervision, or related field; five (5) years of law enforcement experience, with a one (1) year in a supervisory rank equivalent to police sergeant. License or Certificates: A valid California driver license is required; a P.O.S.T. intermediate, or the ability to obtain the intermediate certificate; P.O.S.T. supervisor or the ability to obtain the supervisor certificate; and possession of a current CPR certificate and First Aid certificates.
