Associates degree in Speech-Language Pathology or communication disorders OR graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program required. 4. Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board. 4. Three (3) Professional Letters of Recommendation from current/former supervisors/coworkers: ALL three letters MUST have physical signature and be DATED within one year - digital signatures only accepted with attached digital certificate/final audit report. 5. Typing Test: minimum adjusted/net speed of 40 wpm on a 3-5 minute test (results must show name, WPM results and length of test) - online tests accepted 6.Valid ADULT/PEDIATRIC First Aid and CPR Certification required: NO online courses; NO BLS (basic life support) cards, MUST include Pediatric (Child) training* *can upload proof of registration in an upcoming, in-person CPR/First Aid class in lieu of card **Submitting documents that appear to be altered, falsified, or manipulated may disqualify applicants from the current recruitment and from future employment opportunities with AVUSD.**

Candidates selected for appointment are required to be fingerprinted in our office at the employee's expense and must receive clearance from the DOJ, FBI, and DMV clearance before beginning work ***Must meet minimum requirements per the job description.
