Requirements / Qualifications
Please note that EDCOE is assisting with the recruitment for this position. The employer however will be Alpine County Unified School District. Residency Requirement: This is a single district, single county office of education superintendent position. The district superintendent will be expected to run for the County Superintendent of Schools position, and this requires establishing residency within Alpine County. Alpine County Unified School District Superintendent Brochure Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited post-secondary institution is required. - Master’s degree desirable. - At least five years of teaching experience preferred. - Valid teaching credential, including all courses necessary to meet credential requirement. - Valid California administrative credential. - Administrative and site management experience required.
