The job of Administrative Secretary is done for the purpose/s of providing clerical support to assigned administrative personnel; communicating information to staff, the public, and other districts; ensuring efficient operation of various District programs; meeting deadlines & complying with District, State & Federal guidelines; maximizing efficiency of the workforce & meeting operational requirements; ensuring compliance with financial, legal and administrative requirements; and providing information and/or direction as may be requested. An Administrative Secretary works under the direct supervision of an Assistant Superintendent or Director.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Classified application - Letter of intent - Current resume - Three letters of recommendation with at least one from a current or previous supervisor. - Proof of degree -OR- transcript w/48+ college units -OR- passage of District proficiency test -OR- passage of CBEST (must have one to apply) - Typing certificate - 5 min. test with WPM 60+ (net speed) (must have to apply no online certificates will be accepted)
