SENIOR PAYROLL/BENEFITS TECHNICIAN One (1) Anticipated Vacancy Location: District Office Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday (includes a .5hr of unpaid lunch)* Work Year: 260 paid days per year *Successful candidates for qualifying positions (20 contracted hours per week or more) shall be required to enroll in one of the District’s health insurance programs. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Services, perform a variety of technical accounting duties involved in the preparation, processing and maintenance of the District payrolls; assure that District employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner; perform technical duties related to various employee retirement and benefits programs; prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to assigned functions.
