Job Summary

Job Summary

The high school principal is responsible for the overall administration of a school site, grades 9 - 12. The responsibilities include but are not limited to fostering high student academic achievement, building positive relationships, maintaining a safe, clean and attractive school, maximizing fiscal resources, and optimizing the use of the school facility. In addition, the high school principal is responsible for school programs, (e.g., general education, special education, CIF sports, and a variety of support services for students). The principal is also responsible for the evaluation of both certificated and classified personnel, community relations, and professional learning opportunities.

Requirements / Qualifications

•Valid California Administrative Credential including a Master’s Degree •Valid Single or Multiple Subject Credential •Minimum of 3 years of experience as a secondary administrator •Minimum of 3 years of experience as a high school or middle school teacher •Doctorate and Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable
