Job Summary

The Lawndale Elementary School District is looking for a full-time Technology Support Specialist II. This position is an 12-month, Monday - Friday 8-hour/day (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) position at the District Office. ***Please note, that site location and schedule are subject to change at any time. Employees accumulate one paid vacation and sick day per month of employment. In addition, Lawndale ESD pays 100% for employee health/welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc). Dependent coverage is at a cost to the employee. Lawndale ESD also provides a $1,000 per year career enrichment program for employees. Please see our webpage for more detailed information. Requirements / Qualifications

Application Requirements - Resume - VALID Driver's License - Transcripts with Conferral date and Major OR proof of 3 years of qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Minimum Requirements - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Experience: -Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in technical support, systems administration, or infrastructure management. Additional training, certifications, or professional development in computer-assisted instruction, network systems, cybersecurity, or educational technology applications is preferred. Education: -A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Educational Technology, or a closely related field (PREFERRED) -Three (3) years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or related technology services will be accepted in lieu of a degree. Licenses and other Requirements: -Valid driver's license and use of personal vehicles for travel as appropriate. -Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Security+, Google Certified Administrator, or Microsoft MCSA are desirable.
