Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services or designee, the Behavior Support Advisor provides leadership and establishes targeted, site-based support to promote safe, inclusive, and affirming learning environments across the District. This position promotes student wellness, social-emotional development, and academic success by implementing data-driven, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS). The Behavior Support Advisor enhances school capacity by training and coaching staff in culturally responsive behavior interventions, positive behavior supports, restorative practices, and alternatives to exclusionary discipline, ensuring alignment with District initiatives and compliance with state and federal mandates.

Qualification for employment includes completion of on line training in the following areas: *New Employee Training *Preventing Workplace Violence *Bloodborne Pathogens *Sexual Harassment *Child Abuse/Mandated Reporter Upon offer of employment, candidates will receive information and directions regarding this training. Valid clear California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential with Specialization in Health Designating School Social Work is required Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or documented progression toward certification is required.

Additional Salary Information:
* IUSD will accept up to fifteen years of previous experience.
* Upon hiring, salary placement will be determined by the number of upper division/graduate level units earned from a WASC accredited four-year college or university. Units must be earned subsequent to the date of the Bachelor's degree.
* There is a $2,000.00 Doctoral stipend.
