Under the direction of an assigned administrator, organize and manage programs and instruction for deaf and hard of hearing students to meet proficiency or appropriate differential standards; provide instruction specific to the disability; facilitate inclusion of students into activities/instruction in general education classrooms.

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: •Copy of valid California teaching credential authorizing service as a teacher of the deaf or hard of hearing student OR appropriate intern-eligible letter from college/university, clearly stating what applicant is eligible for. •Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization •Transcripts (Can be unofficial or official at the time of application) AB 2534: ALL PREVIOUS CERTIFICATED EMPLOYMENT MUST BE LISTED BY DISTRICT, INCLUDING SUBSTITUTE TEACHING. (SPECIAL NOTE: copies of credentials should include the name of the credential, credential details, authorizations, issue date and expiration date. You may obtain a copy from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing website at www.ctc.ca.gov.)
