Requirements / Qualifications

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a TK-8 district in North San Diego County. The District is recruiting qualified credentialed English Language Arts and Social Science teacher for grades 7-8. Applicants must obtain the appropriate California Teaching Credential and CLAD/English Learner Authorizations. The position is located at San Onofre School in San Clemente. Temporary position, 12/05/2025-02/28/2026, with the possibility of extension. DETAILS FOR THE TEACHER POSITION: APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until Filled LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 183 Day School Year Calendar, 2025-2026 School Year (Prorated) SCHOOL SITE: San Onofre WORK SCHEDULE: 7.0 hours/day BENEFITS: The benefits package includes employee and dependent health, dental, and vision benefits, and paid sick leave. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING: Applicants must possess the following valid California credentials: California Single Subject Credential Foundational-Level Social Science (or higher authorization) and Single Subject English Language Arts (or higher authorization) OR Multiple Subject Credential with a Supplemental Authorization in Social Science and a Supplemental Authorization in English Language Arts. An English Learner Authorization is required for all applicants. Out-of-state applicants must hold a corresponding credential or license and will be required to obtain the appropriate California credentials upon hire.
