Job Summary: The K-8 Principal serves as the instructional and operational leader of the school site and is responsible for promoting a culture of academic excellence, equity, inclusion, and whole-child development. Under the supervision of the district superintendent or designee, the Principal fosters a safe and supportive school environment, ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, supports high-quality teaching and learning, and builds strong relationships with staff, students, families, and the broader school community. About Allensworth School District Allensworth School District is a small, K-8 public school district located in the historic community of Allensworth, California serving approximately 100 students. Rooted in a proud legacy of resilience and equity, our district serves a diverse population of students and families with a deep commitment to academic excellence, cultural pride, and whole-child development.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required Qualifications: • Valid California Administrative Services Credential • Valid California Teaching Credential • Minimum of five years of successful K-8 classroom teaching experience • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in an educational setting • Demonstrated knowledge of California educational policies, curriculum frameworks, and assessment systems • Bilingual in Spanish is desirable
