Visions In Education is excited to welcome an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as the Director of Instruction for Independent Study, University Prep, and Online Middle School Academies. In this key leadership role, you will guide the strategic development and implementation of instructional programs that promote student learning, engagement, and long term success in an ever evolving world. You will stay informed on the latest in independent study and virtual education best practices, curriculum design, technology integration, and innovative pedagogies to ensure our programs remain responsive and high quality. As Director of Instruction, you will support and inspire a dedicated team of principals, managers, and staff, working collaboratively to meet program goals and deliver exceptional service to students and families. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Instruction. We are seeking candidates with strong experience in instructional leadership and a solid understanding of independent study programs, charter school environments, and nonsite-based instructional models. Familiarity with educational technology and virtual learning tools are necessary assets. This position will be based at our offices in Gold River, CA and will have flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week. However, this will not begin until the employee is fully trained. Depending upon the needs of the department, this schedule is subject to change. The position will include travel to all counties served by Visions.
