Job Summary
Description: The Assistant Coach supports the Girls Soccer program by providing practice guidance, player development, and program support, using established expertise in the sport. Responsibilities • Support a program culture that promotes healthy competition, spiritual and personal growth, team unity, and an enjoyable experience for all athletes. • Assist the head coach in developing and implementing the seasonal practice plan, including participation in pre-season training and camps • Contribute to program growth across all levels • Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: o Taking attendance and communicating absences to parents/guardians o Attending and participating in booster meetings o Assisting with team apparel and equipment needs o Coordinating transportation to and from competitions o Supporting set-up and breakdown for home competitions o Guiding and mentoring student-athletes
Requirements / Qualifications
Education & Experience • Extensive knowledge of the sport of soccer, including rules and regulations • Previous coaching and/or playing experience strongly preferred • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills • Ability to work well with athletes, families, and staff • Current certifications in CPR, Cardiac Arrest, and NFHS coursework • Adherence to CIF and JSerra professional guidelines
