Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Virtual Academy Math Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction to students in a fully online learning environment. This role involves engaging students from TK–12th grade (as assigned), supporting their academic growth, and maintaining clear communication with families and colleagues. Key Responsibilities: Deliver online mathematics instruction aligned with the curriculum and state standards, up to Pre-Calculus. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments for virtual learning. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support individual learning needs. Conduct regular virtual and occasional in-person meetings with students and families to review academic progress. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school initiatives. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student work in the learning management system. Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive online learning environment. This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person attendance required in the Lancaster, Santa Clarita, and Redlands, CA area for meetings.

CTC Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics (up to Pre-Calculus) Must be a California resident and remain a California resident while employed
