Requirements / Qualifications
Multiple Subject Teachers who are first assigned to teach a TK classroom after 7/1/15 have to do one of the following by August 1, 2025: Must meet one of the following: - Complete 24 units in early childhood education or child development or both - A Child Development Teacher Permit issued by the CTC - Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool-age children comparable to the above 24 units (as determined by the LEA) see below: 1-year experience (TK, preschool (public or private), headstart, etc..) and 12-semester units OR 2 years experience (TK, preschool (public or private), headstart etc..) and 6 semester units

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 current letters)
- Resume
- Crosscultural, Language and Academic Development Certificate (or ELL Authorization)
