Job Summary
The HR Merit/Personnel Commission Director ensures that all employment and promotion practices are fair, transparent, and aligned with merit system principles. This role oversees compliance with laws and regulations, develops and maintains personnel policies and procedures, and provides guidance on proper HR practices. The Director also serves as Secretary to the Personnel Commission, preparing agendas, minutes, reports, and recommendations to support Commission actions.
