THE POSITION: The Coordinator II, Educational Technology, harnesses a strategic approach, interfacing with district leadership, educational stakeholders, and higher education entities to champion the adoption and pedagogical integration of digital technologies. This expert leads a dynamic team in formulating and implementing professional development tailored to educational technology, emphasizing the use of digital resources to support and enhance student learning. This position requires an in-depth understanding of educational technology as a key driver for curriculum enhancement and instruction. The Coordinator II is pivotal in curating and disseminating technology-focused training programs for educators, staff, and students, elevating their capabilities to utilize digital tools effectively for both instructional excellence and administrative proficiency. Staying abreast of emerging technologies, this role involves delivering expert consultancy to educators and administrators, ensuring the alignment of such technologies with learning goals and administrative objectives.
Requirements / Qualifications
Experience: Five or more years of comprehensive and progressive educational consultation experience and/or classroom teaching experience, including at least two years of experience as an instructional coach or department lead. Experience with computer science, esports, artificial intelligence, and/or coding is preferred. School-based administrative experience is highly desirable. Education: Master’s degree in educational technology, learning technology, instructional design, liberal arts, curriculum and instruction, or a closely related field by one of the six regional accreditation associations as recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation.
