Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires the School Nurse Services Credential. If you do not posses the credential but are interested in obtaining the Preliminary Credential, you must have the following: 1. Official transcripts showing a baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university. 2. A photocopy of a valid Registered Nurse License issued by the State of California.

This position is currently available beginning with the 2025-2026 school year.
At the completion of each full year of employment,all 1.0 School Nurses will receive a retention bonus of $10,000 (prorated for part-time employees). Nurses must work
the full year to receive the bonus. For Nurses hired mid-year, the amount will be prorated for the number of months worked. Nurses who resign midyear or who take unpaid leave during the year will not qualify for this retention bonus.
