Any combination of education and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Experience: 5 or more years of job-related experience
AND
Education:
(Minimum): High school diploma or equivalent; 30 college semester units in a job-related area
•Some assignments may require constant attention to protecting physical safety in a classroom where pupils, because of assaultive or self-abusive tendencies, could cause serious injury to themselves or others.
Incomplete application will not be considered.
