Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director - Educator Preparation Programs (EPP) plans, organizes, controls and directs professional development and delivery of assigned California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) State-approved credentialing programs for teachers and administrators including Early Learning Credentials, Education Preparation for Inclusive Classrooms (EPIC) and Leaders in Educational Administration Program (LEAP); serves as liaison with the California Department of Education, CTC, the Inclusion Collaborative of SCCOE, and other organizations for providing information and resolving issues related to assigned credentialing programs; supervises the operations of the Educator Resource Center; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel and performs other related duties as assigned. Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2,500 annual stipend for a master’s degree and a $2,500 additional stipend for a doctorate, provided official documentation is submitted.
Requirements / Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Any combination equivalent to a master's degree in education or related field and five (5) years increasingly responsible experience in the administration of instructional technology, professional staff development, instructional leadership and curriculum development at a site or district level. Experience having taught courses at the university level in the area of teacher preparation, administrative training or related field. Doctoral degree preferred. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS - Valid California Administrative Services Credential - Valid California Elementary, Secondary Teaching Credential or Special Education Credential - Valid California driver's license
