Job Summary
The Athletics Coach will work under the direct supervision of the Athletics and Clubs Supervisor to provide assistance to the athletic programs at school sites and athletic fields and shall be responsible for coaching, planning, organizing and delivering direction to student athletes so that they can achieve an appreciation for sportsmanship and teamwork. Under the general supervision of the Athletics and Club Supervisor, maintain necessary rosters and records and complete required paperwork, including student accident/injury report, in a specified time and manner. Ensure proper form(s) (permission, insurance, attendance, medical, etc.) are obtained and current. The Athletics Coach will maintain the highest order of professionalism and always display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior including building positive relationships with athletes, staff, parents, and community.
Requirements / Qualifications
Job Requirements - Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent • Must be 18 years of age or older. • Must be able to work evenings and weekends. • Must be able to interact and work cooperatively with students, staff, parents, guardians, and community members without the loss of efficiency or composure. Must be skilled in conflict management, remaining open to other ideas and contributing to building a positive team spirit. • Valid Driver’s License and evidence of insurability, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, First Aid and CPR certifications, Pre-placement physical (Group ll)
Spring Sports Season runs from March through April. Practices twice a week 3:30pm-5:00pm. Games are on Saturdays (2 hrs): Practice Start Dates 2/16/26 Game Schedule 3/7/25 - 4/25/26

Knowledge of instructional /tutorial procedures and practices, strategies, and
techniques of individual and team sports, reading and writing English Communication
skills.
Abilities to demonstrate enthusiasm for and interest in the sports program, communicate with and
understand the needs of athletes, establish, and maintain effective working relationships with others,
plan and organize work to meet schedules and timelines, maintain records, read, apply and explain
rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements: Work in indoor and outdoor settings, hearing and speaking to exchange
information in person and on the telephone; seeing to read, prepare, and proofread documents,
perform assigned duties; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and
fingers to operate tools and equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above
the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects.
