This position is held in our Communications department, reporting to the Digital Content Manager. The Digital Content Producer creates, edits, and maintains a wide range of online and offline media including video, audio, graphics, and written materials while coordinating with staff, managing inventories and archives, and ensuring high-quality, effective communication materials for ACOE.
Requirements / Qualifications
THE POSITION: The job of Digital Content Producer is done for the purpose/s of producing, creating and maintaining on-line and offline content for ACOE websites, TV and other broadcasting, producing audio and video packages for Websites, mobile, downloadable and streaming content; designing effective and aesthetically pleasing written materials; reviewing materials for content and clarity. This job reports to Assigned Administrator. LOCATION: 313 W. Winton Ave. Hayward, CA 94544 TYPICAL DUTIES: Coordinates with teachers, site administration, supervisor and other trades for the purpose of gathering appropriate information and resources to successfully complete projects such as Teacher-of-the-Year. Designs a variety of items (e.g. annual publications, logos, letterhead, posters, etc.) for the purpose of providing the most effective use of communication, marketing, promotional and/or instructional material/s for ACOE and in the classroom. Edits initial recording media using computer-based editing systems (e.g. educational video and audio presentations, slide shows, events highlights, etc.) for the purpose of adding narration, music, and/or graphics and creating products that meet time restrictions. Inspects graphic and on-line materials for the purpose of verifying the quality of work produced. Maintains inventory of replacement/disposable parts for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing operation of equipment. Maintains ACOE video archive and related inventory including distributing media for the purpose of ensuring the availability and accurate inventory of departmental materials. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Five (5) years related experience and/or training which includes web-based, digital audio and video content creation experience. Education: Bachelor’s Degree. Equivalency: Combination of education and experience.
