Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver dynamic, student-centered instruction to a diverse adult-learner population in an evening schedule. Requirements include: • Creating engaging, culturally responsive lessons • Integrating real-world language applications • Effectively managing a multi-level classroom • Maintaining strong attendance and assessment practices • Use of technology to enhance learning • Demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and strong communication skills suited for adult education settings • Employment contingent upon student enrollment Schedule: Mondays-Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., 12 hours per week for 10 months

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicant must hold a valid California Teaching Credential with an authorization English Learner in English as a Second Language (ELA1 or CLAD).
