Position: Montessori Lead Teacher for Grades 6-8

Responsibilities:

• Teach a mixed-grade class following the Montessori Method, supported by an experienced team.

• Fully engage in the life and mission of RSMS.

• Maintain open and proactive communication with students' parents.

• Collaborate actively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.

• Complete all administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.

• Montessori certification from an accredited institution (preferred).

• A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in Montessori education.

Skills and Characteristics:

• Strong knowledge of Montessori content and current teaching methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• High energy, willingness to learn, and organizational skills.

• Commitment to moral purpose, clarity, conviction, and integrity.

• Ability to establish proactive communication with parents and engage actively with colleagues.

Pay: $60,100.00 - $75,373.00 per year  (plus up to $15,000 stipend for multisubject)
