Requirements / Qualifications

Under general supervision, provides instruction to individual or small groups of students with behavioral challenges in accordance with the prescribed course of instruction; observes, monitors and records student behavior and performance; assists teachers in maintaining student academic and attendance records; and performs related duties as assigned. EDUCATION: The Every Child Succeeds Act requires applicants to meet the requirements of: ~ Graduation from High School or evidence of equivalent educational proficiency. ~ Completion of two years of higher education (48 semester units) or possession of an Associate's or higher degree. Applications must be submitted with a copy of High School Diploma or G.E.D., college transcripts, and copy of California Driver's License to be considered for this position. TRANSCRIPT VERIFICATION: Transcripts and degrees earned outside of the United States must be accompanied by a full evaluation report from a regionally accredited foreign credential evaluation agency. (OK) Only equivalency evaluations are acceptable. (NO) Translated transcripts are not acceptable. (NO) Notarized transcripts are not acceptable.
