Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and engaging After-School Spanish Enrichment Teacher to join our team. The teacher will be responsible for planning and leading after-school Spanish enrichment classes that build students’ language skills while fostering curiosity, creativity, and cultural awareness. This is a part-time position. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging Spanish language enrichment lessons for elementary students (TK–5). - Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. - Integrate fun, interactive activities such as songs, games, storytelling, and cultural projects to support language development. - Manage classroom behavior effectively and ensure student safety at all times. - Communicate with after-school staff and administrators regarding student progress and program needs. - Prepare materials and maintain attendance records as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: - Fluency in Spanish (oral and written) required. -Previous teaching or instructional experience with elementary students preferred. -Ability to design and deliver age-appropriate, interactive lessons. -Strong classroom management and communication skills. -Energetic, creative, and committed to fostering a love for language learning. -Must pass a background check and TB test.
