The job of Bilingual Instructional Assistant is done for the purpose/s of assisting (under direct supervision) in the supervision and instruction of students, and relieving teachers of routine clerical tasks, and serving as a resource to other school personnel requiring assistance with non-English speaking persons. A Bilingual Instructional Assistant reports directly to the site principal or department head.
