Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) The Creekside School is a growing, mission-driven educational program serving students with specialized learning needs. Position Overview The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) works under the supervision and guidance of the SLP to deliver speech-language therapy services aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). The SLPA helps students build communication, social, and self-regulation skills that support lifelong independence and well-being. Key Responsibilities • Provide direct speech-language therapy services under SLP supervision. • Support communication, language, and social skill development across school and community settings. • Collect and record accurate data on student progress toward IEP goals. • Collaborate with teachers, assistants, and families to ensure consistent support. • Participate in IEP meetings, training sessions, and team collaborations. • Help create and implement individualized materials and therapy plans. • Promote a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment for all students. Qualifications • License: California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders, Education, Psychology, or related field Experience: • Minimum 2 years working with individuals on the autism spectrum or
