The Assistant Baseball Coach supports the Head Coach in leading a program that develops players’ skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and character. Key Responsibilities Assist in coordinating tryouts and placing athletes in appropriate positions. Support or participate in the pre-season parent meeting to discuss philosophy, expectations, and fundraising plans. Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and administration. Assist with inventory management, including uniforms and equipment. Attend awards nights and assist with planning if requested. Model the values and traits outlined in the St. Vincent de Paul College Prep Mission Statement and Graduation Outcomes. Qualifications High School Diploma required. 1 years of coaching experience (high school level preferred). Knowledge of CIF bylaws and National Federation of High School (NFHS) baseball rules and regulations. Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, athletes, and parents. Work Location: In-person at St. Vincent de Paul College Prep, Petaluma, CA
