Job Summary

Job Summary

We are looking to fill the following afternoon hours. 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Come join our ABLE team! The Instructional Assistant provides essential support throughout the school day and in our before and after school Extended Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP). This position play a key role in supervision of students, in classroom support, and provides enrichment activities that promote student growth and success.

Requirements / Qualifications

Along with online application, please submit Introduction letter Current resume 3 letters of recommendation. 2 professional references Valid California driver's license or ability to use alternative means of transportation to meet requirements that require travel away from campus. Alternative means of transportation shall be reasonably comparable in time or travel costs to driving. Alternatives include ride-hailing services, taxis, carpooling, bicycling, or walking. Valid first aid and CPR certification are preferred. TB clearance and DOJ background check. Ed Code 45361.5 requires demonstration of competency. It may be satisfied by one of the following: Proof of AA or BA Degree (based on standards set by regionally accredited colleges and universities). 48 semester units with a C- or better (official transcripts must be provided). Successful completion of the basic proficiency test approved and administered by Human Resources of the SJCOE. Email proficiencyexam@sjcoe.net for test information. Documentation of other relevant training and education is desirable.
