Job Summary

Key Responsibilities; The school in question require a Paraprofessional to direct instructional, behavioral, and social support to students under the supervision of a certified teacher. This role plays a vital part in creating structured, inclusive learning environments where all students—particularly those with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)—can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally * Behavior Management: Help create a structured, welcoming environment by supporting the teacher with behavioral challenges and reinforcing classroom protocols. Individualized support: In a 1:1 setting or as classroom support, helping students—including those in Special Education—thrive in a positive and structured learning environment. * Progress Monitoring: Assist with administering assessments and tracking student progress toward IEP goals. * Academic Support: Aid students in meeting their learning objectives by further breaking down course content, answering questions, and providing 1:1 support as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications

* Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required * Experience: Minimum 3 months experience working with Special Education students K-12 is required. * Skills: Must demonstrate strong engagement and rapport-building skills with students and staff. * Values-driven: A genuine passion for Special Education and a desire to make a meaningful impact. * References: 3 professional references, including one from a supervisor, to showcase your strengths!
