Requirements / Qualifications
This Extra Duty assignment is open to current EMCSD teaching credentialed staff. EMETA members will have priority in the selection process. Letter of Intent must be submitted to sleal@emcsd.org indicating PAF #1262937 by closing date. Position Summary: Under the direction of the site administrator or program coordinator, the After-School Club Teacher provides supervision and instruction for students participating in the district’s after-school program. The teacher ensures a safe, structured, and positive environment while implementing pre-developed lesson plans and maintaining program expectations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and engage students in after-school activities at a 20:1 student-to-teacher ratio for 1st- 8th and 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio for Tk/Ktg Take daily attendance and maintain accurate student records Manage student welcoming and dismissal procedures Implement the provided lesson plans and enrichment activities. Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for all students. Communicate effectively with site staff and program supervisors. Participate in required training or meetings as assigned Qualifications: Required: Valid California Teaching Credential

Work Schedule:
Daily Assignment: 1 hour after school
Additional Preparation Time: 30 minutes paid daily
Duration: Several weeks per session (site-based assignment)
