Requirements / Qualifications

Internal Applicants: Although an Edjoin application is the only requirement for internal applicants: it is recommended that you include all items listed to allow all panel members a complete view of your qualification and background. External Applicants: * Physical Therapist I: A Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college with a major in physical therapy is required. Two years experience in physical therapy with primary focus on pediatric clients. * Physical Therapist II: Evidence of attainment of MA/MS degree in physical therapy or at least one of the following: - Board Certification in Pediatrics - Neuro-Development Therapy Certification Two years successful work experience comparable to that of a Physical Therapist with PCOE. * Physical Therapist III: Evidence of attainment of a DPT degree in physical therapy. Five years successful work experience comparable to that of a Physical Therapist II with PCOE. * Must possess a California Physical Therapy License Applicants may be tested. If hired, must provide proof of a valid California driver’s license. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:

  • Copy of Transcript (Proof of Bachelor's Degree or higher)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two Signed Letters of Recommendation are required)
  • Other (California Physical Therapy License)
  • Resume
