Requirements / Qualifications
The Baldwin Park Unified School District is recruiting for an Accounting Supervisor in the Payroll Department. The Accounting Supervisor is under general direction of the Sr. Director of Fiscal Services to help direct and supervise the Fiscal Services Department operations including payroll, adult education, and categorical compliances; to prepare or direct the preparation of periodic and annual financial reports; to assist in the preparation of the budget; and to do related work as may be required. REQUIREMENTS -Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major work in accounting or business administration. -Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required college education on a year-for-year basis. -Three (3) years of responsible accounting and financial record-keeping, including at least one (1) year of responsible experience in public education. -Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License PREFERENCES -Three (3) years of experience working with LACOE's Financial and Payroll system -Proficiency in Spanish
