Mater Dei High School, a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has an immediate opening for a Flag Football (Girls) Head Coach. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the flag football (girls) program, including team practices, performances, competitions, lower-levels and the development of athletes. The coach will ensure that the program reflects the Catholic values of Mater Dei High School. Candidate must develop, organize, and manage the entire sports program, including off-season, pre-season, in-season, and post-season activities. Oversee assistant coaches and ensure they adhere to school and athletic department policies. Candidate should be dedicated to the mission of Catholic education, as envisioned in Church documents and teachings, rooted in our core principles of Honor, Glory, and Love. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience/Required Skills: At least three years of experience within a high school or collegiate setting. Strong knowledge of flag football (girls) leading techniques and safety protocols. Superior written and oral communication skills. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently. Ability to work collaboratively and establish positive collegial relationships. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and awareness of current professional technology. Willingness to adapt to change.
