Job Summary
Provides instruction, assessment and program planning for Special Education students; monitors and evaluates student progress and behavior; researches, obtains and provides instructional materials for Special Education services; serves as informational resource for students, parents, teachers and /or other District personnel; works within a self-contained classroom and within the general education classroom to ensure students’ individual needs are being met.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid California Credential - Mild/Moderate Education Specialist - CLAD or BCLAD (Spanish) Certification required - Letter of Introduction - Letter(s) of Recommendation (Minimum of three (3) required dated within the past 12 months, with one being from a direct supervisor) - Resume - Transcripts - Test results - CBEST, CSET, RICA
