Job Summary
Under the supervision of the site administrator, provides standards-based music instruction for pupils in grades TK - 811''_Creates a classroom environment favorable to learning and professional growth. The Music Teacher will organize a schedule for, and work with classroom teachers in developing a classroom music program; will organize and teach classes in instrumental and/or vocal music; will develop performing instrumental music and/or choral music ensembles. Establish effective rapport with pupils to motivate them to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation in music.
