Job Summary
The job of Behavior Intervention Assistant is done for the purpose/s of developing appropriate school skills for students enrolled in the ELOP program. The Behavior Intervention Assistant works with the student population to support the development of social skills with peers and adults, as well as working closely with the staff on issues related to the educational, social, and emotional success of students. A Behavior Intervention Assistant reports directly to the Extended Learning Athletics and Clubs Supervisor.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education Required: Associate’s Degree or higher, or 48 or more eligible units of coursework at a recognized college or university. At least two years of behavior management experience, preferably with students with learning/emotional/mental disabilities. Must complete/provide the following: - Online Classified Employment Application - Resume - Letter of Introduction - Three Letters of Recommendation (dated within the past 12 months, with at least one from a supervisor) - Copy of Transcripts
Daily Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 1:45 PM- 5:45 PM and Wed 1:00 PM- 5:00 PM
